Films—especially from the Golden Age—have kept ASHLEIGH MCPHIE on the edge of her seat since day one. Growing up just a stone’s throw from Hollywood, California, she's been fortunate to pursue her passion for the silver screen.
She began creating projects independently and through freelance work, evolving into a versatile presence on set. Some of her credits include: Writer, Director, Producer, Gaffer, Director of Photography, Editor, Composer, and Actor. She has directed, written, and produced for the Newport Beach Film Festival, California Women's Film Festival, and Autumn's Dawn Film Festival in Brooklyn, NY.
She co-founded a small production company, Abstract Milk Productions, which produces short films and hosts networking events. Earlier this year, she spearheaded their annual “Abstract Milk Film Festival.”
As a dedicated and determined individual with an eye for detail and a love for classic cinema, she looks forward to this new chapter of creation. As a Director, Writer, and Producer, she hopes to continue collaborating with visionary creatives to bring unique projects to life.
She recently wrapped a sci-fi thriller short film as a Producer and the Director of Photography. It is slated to release in August at The Frida Cinema.
